Sales

If you are ready to buy or sell a horse, Inverness Farms is prepared to help you.  Horses are a big investment, and making the correct selection when purchasing a horse can save you time, money, and headaches down the road.

Likewise if you have a horse to sell, finding the right buyer for your horse can also be difficult and time-consuming, and Inverness Farms can help you through that process.

Our objective with horse sales is to handle the transaction in the most efficient and professional manner possible.

Buying a Horse

We follow a series of steps when looking for a horse for a client to buy:

bulletThe client (the buyer) fills out a questionnaire provided by Inverness Farms that details the buyer’s requirements and preferences.
bulletInverness Farms then uses our extensive Triangle area contact list to search for any local area sale horses that fit the buyer’s criteria.
bulletInverness Farms also conducts a thorough Internet search, using web sites that have proven very successful in previous horse searches.
bulletInverness Farms uses its own proprietary interview techniques when contacting horse sellers to gain as much information as possible about the sales horse.
bulletInverness Farms provides the buyer with a written, detailed profile of each horse prospect.
bulletFor any horse prospect that the buyer is interested in, Inverness Farms will set up the appointments to view the horse.
bulletInverness Farms will assess the horse prospect’s suitability for the buyer.
bulletIf the buyer is interested in purchasing the horse, Inverness Farms will help in the sales negotiation process, can provide sales contracts, and will help in evaluating the veterinary pre-purchase examination findings if an exam is conducted.
bulletInverness Farms can provide transportation of the sales horse after purchase.
